A weekend to celebrate and commemorate the work of George B. Gardiner, who died 100 years ago, on the 19th January, 1910.

THE HAMPSHIRE FOLK MAP WAS LAUNCHED

The Hampshire Folk Map - part of the Singing Landscape project - which was researched and compiled by Yvette Staelens and Chris Bearman, was launched at the Hampshire Record Office.

The event was well supported with contributors to the Map and descendents of Gardiner's singers. There were dances from Wickham Morris and songs from Rob Mills and Craig;Morgan;Robson.
