Following the selections for CD-R release all the recordings in Ken's Collection will be made freely available as MP3 files on the internet. This has been a huge task and is taking time to bring to fruition.
Grateful thanks go to the assistance of my friend Steve Roud, who has catalogued and indexed Ken's Collection and assigned Roud numbers. Steve also suggested to The English Folk Dance And Song Society that they should include audio recordings in their online archive. EFDSS agreed and offered to host Ken's Collection and make it freely available.
I'm pleased to report that MP3s of all of Ken's Collection will be available through their website:
The Full English website is currently being restructured to include audio recordings and collections from all parts of the British Isles. It will be relaunched as The Vaughan Williams Digital Library.
This is still being worked on but it is hoped to have all of Ken's Collection available to listen to soon.
Recordings Ken made in Sussex are already freely available to listen to on The Sussex Traditions website: http://sussextraditions.org/
There will be plenty of publicity when the Vaughan Williams Digital Library is relaunched.
